Hey everyone,
Just got my logic 5 platinum. Have Jaguar installed already. Looking at the reference info, there's nothing on OSX. I know there's some updates already... Currently i'm using cubasis on OS9.2, and i'm using my yamaha 4-track as an input device, and to monitor my audio (i have a G4 450, standard mac audio card that came with the computer,448 MB Ram, basic Yamaha PSR-270 keyboard). I'll be buying a second hard drive for data pretty soon. Am i going to need to still use my 4-track? The reason i use it is to combat monitor latency when i'm overdubbing, but i understand jaguar and logic are supposed to be pretty good at fighting that latency. I know there are big changes with jaguar, but being still a computer music newbie, i'm not totally sure how different it really is from OS9. So how should i set this puppy up? Thanks in advance!! |
