Hi everyone... laugh.gif

Well actually my problem is with the use of The Yamaha DTXPRESS Electronic Drums and Logic Pro..

Everything works perfectly , the Midi is okay, by the way of every signal ( cymbal, tom, snare, kick,etc..... ) is aquired by the computer...

BUT! With a simple drum synth from Logic, or ULTRABEAT , even XLN Addictiv Drums... "NO KICK" and "NO SNARE" sound get out of these synth.

I try to add a simple synth and everything work...

So i asked myself if I had to reconfig the "note" played by the kick and the snare on The DTXPRESS...?
The manual is very poor about that...

Or is the problem can be fixed directly on LOGIC. ?

So i aske help on this wonderful forum ^^

thx in advance!

kisses from france!

Probably that's the problem. each pad should send a midi note # and velocity, perhaps even several note #'s, depending on position. Those #'s should be editable, though i get you've looked at the manual and it's not much help.
I don't know that piece of gear myself. bon chance.

if you haven't done this already, try setting what ever you are using as your master controller to the " midi global " setting... good luck
