Hey, Just started up our own international beats website for hiphop/rnb lovers everywhere. But getting increasingly angry about the US overshadowing genuine british talent. Can ne1 out there give me hope for the future of young british hiphop talent??? Let me know
Cheers, lastsound

Theres loads of genuinely decent uk rap/hip hoppers out there! the problem is that the in the US the big labels have money to throw away on promotion of people like 50cent, eminem etc, and they flood the market, leaving no room for anyone else even tho a lot of these British artists are way more talented. I dont know where you are based, but check out South London, youve got more talent in brixton.peckham, clapham than a monkey could shake a stick at and the only problem is the lack of cash for recording and promotion. Did you catch Chancers on channel four a few months ago? showed in detail the UK Rap and hip hop scene and i know for a fact that there are more talented individuals out there than anyone who was on that show.

If any English rappers are looking for a job, I have one. I'm a white American rapper looking for someone to contribute to my rap song. There's money involved. I hope to get a response because I am getting a bit desperate. Please let me know if this sounds interesting to anyone. The best way to get a hold of me is through my e-mail: popstardom777@hotmail.com.

I am still looking for a British rapper to collaborate with. Instead of e-mailing me for the details, I have included all of the information here so any enthusiasts can start recording straight away. Should you record to the song, please send the file to my e-mail address popstardom777@hotmail.com for my listening and approval. I am not a picky person, so keep that in mind if you are considering giving this a go. I would also like to mention that my function as an artist is not primarlely rap, so also keep that in mind before you dub me as a rap god. http://rapidshare.de/files/11760183/24Track24.wma.htmlIf you have trouble downloading this song, please tell me and I will send you the file via e-mail. Normally, just follow the instructions to get the download and you will be able to download The Rap Song. It is about 3 MB in size. I have also included the lyrics at the bottom of this post. Record your rapping over this WMA file. Return the song with your vocals in any format, but WAV is preferred. I also have a very high quality version of The Rap Song (40 MB) which is available upon request. The main two parts that need rapping are after the third chorus (there are just instruments playing) and after the last chorus to the fade (this part is the instrumental again). Those spaces were left specifically open for an artist like you to fill in. Sing during the choruses if you like. Take as much artist freedom as you want, and keep it tasteful. My message in The Rap Song recognizes the vanity and materialism seen all too often in American hip-hop: The new prince of pop I’ve been crowned, in my Porsche I like to drive around town -- This is the rap song, a three-minutes and thirty three seconds long. I especially prefer someone who understands my message. I record all sorts of songs using a mixture of popular styles. Here are a couple of samples of songs I have recorded: http://rapidshare.de/files/11760409/ComeTo...Sample.wav.htmlhttp://rapidshare.de/files/11760616/There_...Sample.wav.htmlAgain, if you can't download, ask me and I will send you the samples via e-mail. I wrote recorded this song over a year ago, and I have been looking for a British rapper to compliment The Rap Song ever since, although I started intensely searching over the past few months. I will know you are serious about collaborating with me when I receive your recording. ----------------- The Rap Song

Check it, I’m what you call a modern-day dean Been making money since I was seventeen If you know what I mean, cha-ching Consider me your personal sex-machine The new prince of pop I’ve been crowned In my Porsche I like to drive around town I’ve been producing the finest new sound Before all you posers have been around
CHORUS: This is the rap song Not too short And not too long A three minutes And thirty-three seconds long The rap song The fairytale that money can’t buy happiness Ain’t got me in any kind of distress Too much cash I have, I madly must confess Since the record company thinks that I’m the best Gotta get the money, them seven digit checks My vibe playing in a million iPods and CD decks Tuned to perfection by engineers and techs Getting paid to show up to my own sound checks
REPEAT CHORUS TWICE
YOUR RAP HERE (TBA) REPEAT CHORUS
YOUR RAP HERE (TBA)

Dizzee was the first to break into the mainstream from the East London Grime scene. It's actually quite big now and a few of the artists have played in the US. Though, instead of rapping about how much money they have and how big their car is...................... they rap about their usually hard life in East London. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grime
