Just thought I would mention this since I think its one of the greatest new things to appear on the net for artists of all media. Anyone who wants to sell their music, their photos, their art, or even their writings should check out LuLu. This is a new site that will let you do all of these things.
You can sell your music as downloadable mp3's or create a CD for sale and you set the price. Lulu simply takes a very small percentage for transaction fees. Also, you can collaborate with other musicians using the site. No special software or hardware required... only the ability to create and upload mp3's. Also, upload as many songs as you like and it will generate lo-fi previews for each song for you and display all of them for free unlike mp3.com currently. To see an example of an artist media page at Lulu... click on my "Synthetic Tone" below.  The only downside is no artist page customizing yet but I am going to push for that one.
