Hi,
I just bought a brand new Mackie Control Universal Pro USB, firmware 3.0.0, and I have two Macs, both running OS-X, 10.4.11, ProTools 7.4 and Logic 8.02, .

One of the computers is an old G4-PPC-800MHz
The other one is a MacBook Pro, Intel, 2.16 GHz

The Mackie Control is fully recognized in HUI mode by ProTools on both computers.

In Logic Pro mode, only the PPC Mac seems to recognized it, as soon as I plugged it to the computer, Logic was automatically in business with the MCU, ready to work like a dream.
On the MacBook Pro, the buttons of the Mackie just trig notes, and the Control Surface Scan or Control Surface manual adding didn't help. This model of MCU doesn't even appear in the list of Control Surfaces in Logic.
Is there any known issue with Intel based Macs and MCU?

Thanks for any help !

All Best
