Having 'almost' made the decision to go with Live as my DAW I still have a couple of questions which I hope someone out there can help me with.
If I purchase a boxed copy of live can I use it on either a Mac or a PC. I use both, my studio is Mac based but I also have a laptop running Windows XP. Can I install Live on both using the same license ? In my trial version of Live I warped a full audio track and the resulting clip had a distinctly metallic sound to it. Is this characteristic of warped audio or is it just my inexperience with Live (I may not have used the most appropriate warp mode). Thanks in anticipation |

Yes I have the same copy loaded on a PC and a Mac. Not sure about the metallic ringing sound as I have never experienced that. I would try to make sure that your warp is in beats mode....that is as good of a place as any to start
