Hello,
I have a Macbook 2.0ghz(core 2) with 2gigs of memory. I have an external USB Lacie 250gb "lego brick" HD. I use a presonus firepod for my I/O.

Quite often, when I open a Logic project, I will get an error something like this:

"9 invalid regions changed!" (or 7, or 2, the number changes each time)

Whenever I get this error, some audio tracks(which are stored on my external) are either moved so they are off beat, or gone completely. However, if I do not save, then quit and restart my computer (and sometimes if I restart my external) the song will load as it is supposed to the next time. At first I thought it was a single project that had just been corrupted, but now it happens on nearly every project. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? Is it my hard drive or what?

I have a 17" Mac and the same hard drive...Lacie 250......i had the same problem as well...its the hard drive...it should have been formatted for Mac...."i for got what they call it " for the Lacie but it is the root of the problem...especially if the Mac goes to sleep....so basically if you can...reformat the drive....go to Lacie support...they will tell you ......

I have the exact same problem and it's really annoying.

I have a 15" macbook pro. I use a Seagate external harddrive. Have either of you reformatted your external harddrive? did that solve it?
