That's Ok we use Live also, check the Live lessons for detailed instructions on how to configure your specific controller.

But you can go either way use the default for the TF, or create a custom map.

Actually configuring Live to work with any controller is really easy. Just click on the MIDI button at the top right of the screen, everything will flash blue, click on the parameter you want to control and then turn the knob, push the slider or button or whatever you have to use on your controller and then once you are finished click on the MIDI button again and there it is.

Thanks for the replies guys! I've tried mortalengines method, but it appears that Ableton isn't receiving any signal when I press a pad on the TF. I'm kinda new at this MIDI stuff but I've read from another forum that I have to actually set up/program the TF a particular way in order for it to work. I've tried Enigma (choosing the Ableton Live preset, pressing Ctrl F12, and then pressing memory recall and P10 on the TF), and still no luck. Also, I think my pads are set so that they are pressure sensitive (The harder I press a pad the higher the value (ranges from 00 to 127))...Is there anyone willing to explain these things to me? All I want to do is launch clips/songs in Ableton for Djing using the pads. Thanks for taking the time to read!

you might want to check your inputs in your preferences..i don't use pc so i don't really know the equivalent, but make sure that the midi signal is goin through- in live if you are getting a signal it should show it in the upper right...i do seem to remember having the same sort of problem, but it's been a little bit...check the preferences...
you should be able to change the velocity (pressure sensing) to 127- that is full. if you are only using it to trigger clips, velocity dosen't matter- only if you are trying to getting diff. volume on sounds does it matter...
