I have Intuem and if you can get the sound right, which I haven't, then it should work fine. As for me, it's been hell. I haven't been able to get my roland xp30 sounds into Intuem. The notes show up but with no sound. I have tried for the past month to fix it, but I have kind of just given up. If it works for you, then it should be fine. At 80 dollars, you cant go wrong. Its very standard. GM sounds and any sounds you put into it. I need figured out how to get other Midi sounds into it. There is a sound level for each track, and easy editing. Its very simple. - jeff

heh, here I can get it to playthru from the MIDI keyboard to the SoundCanvas, but I can't record! You would think it would involve the same process, but no. The app stays on "waiting for note" indefinitivly, while the playthruy works fine in normal mode.
that, and the program change window is perfectly stupid. it assumes you know all your programs by NUMBER. With a modern synth, that runs in thousands!
That, and many other smaller problems, but I don't consider that a sequencer you record stuff with. It can be used to edit and tweak MIDI files, but I don't imagine sequencing anything from scratch with it!
