clapp74,

Create an Aux Input track and insert a Click plug-in. Then, click on the Metronome button in the Transport window to enable. Double-click the button to set preferences. Click sounds may be changed in the plug-in window.

The shortcut for the metronome on the keyboard is the number 7 this turns on the click and off,so aux track and then mono instrument click and you should hear it when its turned up in the mixer.

hope this helps

well, i can do everything until the last part... my Transport window doesnt have a metronome or anything in it...it is just my play/record/rewind,/fastforward options in another window.
it doesnt have anything else on it....

is there any way for me to get the rest of the things into the Transport window?

In the menu bar at the top click on View>Transport>Expanded. Also, as armyboy mentioned, number 7 on your keyboard will toggle the metronome on and off.

Actually, View>Transport>MIDI Controls is what you want. View>Transport>Expand will display additional features.

Sorry for any confusion.
