clapp74,
Create an Aux Input track and insert a Click plug-in. Then, click on the Metronome button in the Transport window to enable. Double-click the button to set preferences. Click sounds may be changed in the plug-in window. Ron |

The shortcut for the metronome on the keyboard is the number 7 this turns on the click and off,so aux track and then mono instrument click and you should hear it when its turned up in the mixer.
hope this helps |

Ron well, i can do everything until the last part... my Transport window doesnt have a metronome or anything in it...it is just my play/record/rewind,/fastforward options in another window. it doesnt have anything else on it.... is there any way for me to get the rest of the things into the Transport window? |

In the menu bar at the top click on View>Transport>Expanded. Also, as armyboy mentioned, number 7 on your keyboard will toggle the metronome on and off.

Actually, View>Transport>MIDI Controls is what you want. View>Transport>Expand will display additional features.
Sorry for any confusion. Ron |
