Hi!
I'd like to connect by Digital Piano to my iBook, so that I can load additional sounds.I'ce bought a connecting device but now I need a software and instruments.

Can anyone recommend a free software and where I can download samples?

Unfortunately, I don't know much about MIDI and Macs so much appreciated if anyone could tell me what to do.

thanks, tom

You will need a USB midi interface for midi, and an audio interface if you want to record your keyboard and vocals.

Depending on when you bought your ibook, it may have come loaded with Garage Band it includes several built-in software instruments.

Garage Band is available as part of the iLife suite, $79 from the Apple Store if your machine meets the minimum spec.
