I wish to edit midi files that I have saved on my mac, save them to floppy and use them in my technics keyboard- sounds simple but isn't so far!
Basically, Using Sweet Midi X I can change the key of a midi track, save it to disk (in format 0- which is what my keyboard requires) but even though this is one song, my keyboard reads it as two.. I've done some research and apparantly this is due to the "mac header" which is 128 extra charachers on the begining of the track that tells my keyboard it was made on a track so... my question is...
WHAT SOFTWARE REMOVES THE MAC HEADER, ALLOWS SAVING OF FILES IN FORMAT 0 & ALLOWS THE MIDI TRACK TO BE EDITED AND WORKS ON THE NEW INTEL MACS?
Bit of a tricky one but I'd be VERY greateful if someone can help! I Love macs but am considering other options!
