Hi everybody
I would like to read audio files ( which are located on a disk in my Mac OS X Server ) in a pro tools session on a G5 PPC OS X 10.4.7. It doesn't work. Pro tools sees my drive but won't read the file because "it is not a MediaNet volume or a Firewire volume". I've read that Medianet is a professionnal media server owned by Avid. Could someone tell me if protools only works with MediaNet volumes? |

There is only one other game in town: Studio Network Solutions. It is a strange system that scared me to install, but it does work. Get this, it uses SCSI over Ethernet.
