Hi there,

While I've got a really good setup it unfortunately completely outweighs my current level of knowledge. I would greatly appreciate someone's help.

My setup is:

Mac PowerPC G5 Dual 2.7GHz OSX with 2.5GB Memory
Digi002 Rack
Yamaha MG16/4 Mixing Console
Nord Lead 2x Keyboard
Logic 7.1.1
NI Komplete 3 Bundle

(I also have Pro Tools LE and Reason 2.5 but my question doesn't relate to this)

When using my Nord Lead 2x with Logic I am capable of recording MIDI without any problems via the standard instrument track.

Pardon my lack of knowledge on terminology but I am really after an in-depth (possibly step-by-step) instruction on how to map/route my Nord correctly to an instrument or track (or whatever) to ensure that the sounds produced directly from the Nord (not just the standard sound banks/patches but also including anything I manually set using the LFO's, Envelopes, Oscillators, etc on the Nord itself) are retained by Logic.

In my travels the closest I've come is that I can see that the Nord has the Dump One/Dump All buttons and I'm sure this has something to do with it but I'm just not sure. I also understand that I need to do something within the Environment window in Logic to make this all happen but again, I just don't know.

Pardon my ignorance and thanks to anyone who can help out. I just hope I'm talking in tongues here .... lol rolleyes.gif
