HELLO TO EVERYONE IN DIGILAND!!!
I AM LOOKING FOR SOMETHING TO WRITE DRUM LOOPS WITH BUT KEEP HITTING ROAD BLOCKS. I HAVE PRO TOOLS 001/DIGITAL PERFORMER AND A KORG TRITON. THEY ALL ARE GREAT FOR CERTAIN APPLICATIONS BUT HAVE NOT INSPIRED ME IN THE WAY OF DRUM LOOPS. A FREIND OF MINE HAS ACID PRO AND SONAR ON HIS PC. THEY LOOK SIMPLE AND FEEL COOL. 1. IS THERE ANYTHING MADE FOR A MAC THAT LOOKS AND FEELS SIMILAR TO ACID PRO OR SONAR? 2. WHAT IS OUT THERE??????!!!!!!!!!! |

go to ableton.com and check out the software called
live. you will love it. forget acid, get live and you will thank me for the rest of your life. and its pc and mac compatible so you can trade files with others. this software is like wildfire and has started quite a revolution. |

reason, recycle, phatmatik. oh yeah, rex files, cubase, logic...
most sequencers on the mac support rex files. phatmatik is a vst plug that will do this kind of stuff for you. you should definitely check out reason2. -------------------- one for all and all for one...

STORM
www.Arturia.com I haven't heard anything about this but have the Demo and it's really nice. It's so easy to use that I felt guilty. I suspect there's a STORM a brewin'. ioGirl P.S. while were on the subject, would someone, who has Reason, do a comparison. I know that Storm is much less expensive but limits you to 4 instruments. Still I was able to get some really cool things out of it . Should I spring for this (version 2 looks very intriguing) or just get Reason? |

there is no comparison, storm is great fun(i've checked the demo out too), but it's kind of a junior version of reason.
the only thing that's really cool about storm is the fact that it functions as a vst plugin. reason does SO much more, check it out... i'd also like to mention phatmatik again here, recycle as a vst plugin anyone? -------------------- one for all and all for one...
