Hello!
I'm the guy with the Quad. I haven't disappeared. I've just been going through Quad Hell.
Short version of the story: I bought a Maxtor TB drive that was also from Hell. Eventually, it gave up the ghost and I returned its smoking, dead hulk back to CompUSA for a replacement. I got a LaCie FW drive that I just hooked up, so as soon as I put it through the paces, I'll let you know if I have any better luck. Right now, my Quad G5 (pre-Intel) is a crawling, sluggish beast. My 3-year-old G4 Laptop leaves it in the dust. How about that?
So far, I don't like Quad World. I'm feeling like I made a $4000 mistake.
Oh, I also had a bad RAM stick in the machine. That was also wreaking havoc.
More later!

Hi Mac Daddy, No. There is something wrong. Maybe its the August vacation in Europe. By the way I am using Virtual Guitarist 2 and the VG files should be in: Applications> Library>Aplication Support>Virtual Guitarist 2 Content. In the Virtual Guitarist 2 Content is a file called "Set VG2 Content Location". This file tells VG2 where the files are. (see this file content below below). Virtual Guitarist 2.dat1 Virtual Guitarist 2.dat4 Virtual Guitarist 2.dat5 Virtual Guitarist 2.dat2 User Styles User Effects Virtual Guitarist 2.dat3 Set VG2 Content LocationVirtual Guitarist 2.dat6 I had the previouse version of VG and the file setup was the same. Hope this helps. DANO10
