Just got off the phone with the german distributor for Akai Pro. The MPC-style drumpad MPD16 will be supported via USB come October (already works via MIDI). The rep also told me that the ak.sys software would be ready for OSX in October. This info came directly from Akai Japan (I was bugging the distributor earlier, so they emailed HQ ).
