I have been looking in the software section of this site and there is alot there, I have some questions, What is a Commercial Free Update? Do you already need a version of the program for it to work? There are lots of software I want like Reason, Logic pro for example. Are these just demo versions or the full programs? If they are just demo's does anyone know where one could find a peer sharing full software for these kinds of programs? Thanks for your help.

You can not aford the $999 list price ??? you want someone to shear theres with you ? or do you want it for free ???? Why don't you go in to the loco music store and see if they will let you have something like a Kurzweil K2600XS for free. If everyone did that Apple will consider that Logic is not what the public wants to buy and discontinue it instead of Farther development for upgrades Consider if you was a serious Musicain Work you whole life Making Music. All of a sudden You stop Making Money "Everybody has your latest Works and Love it" But they got it for free on peer to peer. can you aford to Keep making Music? or can you Imagin U2 Washing dishes to raise enough money to make there Next Album.

There's lots of software on the usual networks (limewire etc), but 1stly, as far as I know there's no working crack for Logic as authorisation needs the hardware dongle and 2ndly if you're serious about making music, and even hope to make money from music production you should buy the software.
Everyone always wants more than they have, but few of us can afford to buy the latest softsynth, plug-in bundle etc, etc...
The big software packages (logic, cubase, nuendo, dp) all offer a huge array of production solutions for a price equivalent to a single good mic, and as the previous poster mentioned, we all want the companies to keep on with development so the only honest thing to do is keep legal.
