606... help Please!
hi I need help !!!
I have just recently bought a Roland tr 606 drumatix and I am having great difficulty programing it (writing the track)! I have the instructions but still I fail, I have managed to write the 10 basic patterns that are in the manual (basic course) but when it comes to writing the track in I manage to fuck it up every time for like an hour solid (that's a lot of fucking around) suppose it like a stage on a PlayStation game that you just cant get past!
This is meant to be fun not a headache what am I doing wrong!
I write the track in as per the instructions with the tap button but it just advances to some were else on the 1 to 16 button scale(writing some thing else not what I want), and when I try to correct my mistakes as per the manual it just advances to the next step not allowing me to correct the mistake!
My machine is mint it looks like it has never been used so it is me at fault, what am i doing wrong?

what dose this mean in your eyes?

Fig. 3 Track Composition Table
| I-1 | % | % | I-2 |
| I-5 | I-6 | I-7 | I-8 |
| I-9 | I-3 | I-9 | I-4 |
| I-9 | I-3 | I-9 | I-10|

hers the instruction link
