Hey guys, quick question.

Are VSTs sensitive to which processor I use (intel vs. PPC)? If I want to download free VST plugins, do I need to worry whether or not they support the Intel processors? I have a Macbook. I want to be careful about putting things on it that won't work or will just clutter up my harddrive. Thanks a ton. smile.gif

Yes there is a big differece, on an Intel mac a PPC pluging would only work under Rosetta, that means the DAW would have to be running on Rosetta also.

Performance would be poor.
