Hello, I want to do only audio recording (high quality) (classical and jazz), editing and mixing. I don't need no midi, loops, video scoring..... Since I have external very good plugins, would be LE7 enough for me or does LP7 have a better recording sound, better editing and mixing tools?
Thank you

LE7 (you mean ProTools?) is better for you in my opinion, cause it's much simpler than Logic. Has no scoring, poor MIDI and it is a worldwide standard. Logic is more like composing AND recording tool, PT is exactly for recording. On the other hand Logic can handle a lot of interfaces, while PT is fixed with Digidesign (and M-audio) hardware. So if you really need a high quality, I would suggest PT HD, but the price...
