Hi,

Does the Digi 001 is working well with the ultra ATA hard drive or it is much better to buy ultra 160 SCSI drive.
Thanks a lot for your answers

I've never seen a problem with the Digi001 and a 7200rpm ide drive.

The limiting factors are usually CPU speed or the amount of RAM.

For best performance, u could use an SCSI U/W Disc via an Atto SCSI Card (if u do'nt have an SCSI card in your Mac)

Personally i have many freinds using Digi 001 on internal IDE Drive in G3 and G4 and seem to have no problems at all...

Use Norton speed disc to defrag if problems occure.
