QUOTE (zeze @ Wed 7 Jun 2006, 23:52) In a PT session, at the lower right of the edit window you must see two little arrows like this «, click on it and the Regions menu' will open, then if you select a sample region in a track, it will appear highlighted in the Regions menu', here you can select Export Regions as Files; if you cannot do this, i suspect that something wrong is in your program;
which PT version are you using? and which Tiger version you have in your Mac? what audio interface do you use with PT? are you using a mixer connected to this interface?
a probable cause of L/R channels crosstalking could be a bad cable connected from the output of your Digidesign audio interface to your speakers system or mixer; in case, you should check trying with another brand new stereo cable; hope this helps. Thanks a lot Zeze. I finally found the Regions menue and it works. But I select track 1 in English and track 2 in Spanish and then. Regions, Export Regions as Files and when it does, I only hear the spanish.I really don´t understand that because I have only used Pro Tools bouncing to disk. I am using PT LE 7. Tiger 10.4.2 M Box (the blue and white one that stands vertical) I use no mixer. The M Box is connected only throuh one USB to the I Mac G5 Do you think it could be that connection? Because i have never been able to fully separate the tracks, even with my older version PT 6.4

i tried this in my PT 7.1 LE/MBox2/G5/Tiger 10.4.6 setup, and it worked fine:
in a new session i create two mono tracks, i pan trk1 hard left and trk2 hard right, i put a mono file1 to trk1 and a mono file2 to trk2, i select both the tracks and the regions, then in Regions menu' i choose Export Regions as Files, in the window that appears i have
File Type: SD II Format: Stereo Bit Depth: 16 Sample Rate: 44100
by checking Prompting for each Duplicate i can name the new file and choose the export destination, and click Save; next i open Peak, load the saved stereo file, and it plays as expected, that is, i hear the file1 in channel left perfectly isolated, and file2 on channel right with no leakage at all;
if you do this and still you have the same problem, then i suggest you to check the audio cable that connects the Mbox outputs to your speaker system, maybe it could be damaged, creating the crosstalking effect. hope this helps.

hope this helps. Ok I did the same thing up to Prompting for each duplicate. PT allows me to choose the destination folder. But then I have nowhere to click Save. after chosing the destination I can only click Export. And when it export finishes I get 2 files: one for English and one for French. Is it maybe because I have PT 7 and you PT7.1? Also, I don´t know what you mean by opening PEAK What kind of file is SDII? I have only worked with AIFF files. Could I give an SDII file to a DVD authoring technician? Thanks Zeze all of this is helping me a lot. As you can see I am a real beginner in PT. But I am having fun learning.

Is it maybe because I have PT 7 and you PT7.1? i think you got two files because in the Export Selected window you chose (Multiple) Mono instead of Stereo; so, dont forget to select the Stereo option before exporting it; no, i dont think PT 7 is much different from 7.1; QUOTE Also, I don´t know what you mean by opening PEAK PEAK is a sample editing software, i used this to listen to the result file; QUOTE What kind of file is SDII? SDII is the Digidesign audio sample format; you can also choose AIFF or WAV, ask your authoring technician which one he prefers.
