Hello, I'm new here. I've been a mac user for 3 years. I'm also a part time DJ. Recently a friend introduced a dj mix software called Mixmeister pro for Windows. Its the perfect software I've been searching for. Unfortunately, there is no mac version.

I like to make mix CDs and recording them live takes too much of my time. Mixmeister is very user friendly, very simple (i'm not looking for a program like ableton or pro tools). I just want to make mixes by visually aligning the beats of all the tracks in the mix.

What is the equivalent mac software for mixmiester pro? Any suggestions.

I support "Ask The DJ". I use that alot when i just want to throw a few songs into a mix and step away from the computer. It automatically align's beats pretty well from song to song and you can even burn the mix right from the software.

Thank you. Most of those recommended are made for real time DJing. None of them have the same look and feel as Mixmeister. Mixmeister is designed primarily for making mix tapes, not live mixing.

Mixmesiter is for non-real time mixing. You can actually make a 80 minute mix tape in around 15 minutes. It lays the tracks over each other visually, you can choose the bpm and where each mix starts and ends.

Is there a Mac equivalent?
