did a seach in this forum for cubase ans audio units but the only article was in la francais alors, je ne suis pas un cretine complete mais i could not understand it
is there a converter available which will let me use audio units in cubase

thanks a lot mate....thats about the best answer i could have hoped for
i've tinkered with a demo of that about 2 yrs ago and always meant to get back to it - seems like a great tool for generating new grooves
ps - you may think i am a bit of a tosser using cubase on a mac... its only a temporay situation - between daws at the mo
for writing I will soon be working in Live 5 - and now i have time to train myself up on Plogue Bidule - I think thos 2 together will be interesting to say the least

Does not matter on what you create on as long as you create. Cubase is cool too. It works different, that's all. Bottom line, it's what you as a musician/creator bring to the 'Game'.
Most of the real Money made in music in the past years (Rap/Hip-Hop) came from DJ's and Sample Saints... They begin using more sophisticated methods, i.e. Computers once they begin working with Record Companies and High Profile Producers.
You don't have to apologize to anyone in this Forum... We are pretty much all in the same boat... "We are mere grasshoppers... So fortunate to have Master Lepetitmartien show us the way. Steinberg has been on more 'Hits' than Logic. I'd bet on that.

Man....if you gotta handle on Cubase, go with it. It is right on up there with all the cool DAWs. I found it a little complex & went on to a couple of other apps. Just some feedback on Ableton Live 5. I love it but I have to work REALLY hard to keep from crashing it. It is pretty tough on the ol' CPU & you have to be aware of what you are using & what it might do to your computer. A couple of times I was using some pluggo piug ins & the CPU load was getting up around 65-70 percent & then I changed a parameter in the plug in I was using & all I saw was that little "wheelie thing" spinning & it wouldn't stop & I couldn't force quit, I just had to hit the power button & restart. Thankfully, Ableton has crash recovery. I also understand Logic is a little less tough on CPU as well.
