Sorry for this... but I'm going rapidly nuts here.
Does anyone else using an M-Audio Audiophile USB actually have input level (gain/cut) control available in either the Sound pref pane or Audio Midi Setup on OS X (Tiger 10.4.3)? Or within any recording program, for that matter?
Further... does it seem likely that input level control would - by design - _not_ be offered/available using this or a similar sound card?
