Looking for downloadable freeware drum machine that can import samples. My requirements are minimal, I've used Hammerhead on the PC and that would be fine if it worked on Mac.
Virtual Drummer is okay, except that you can't import samples. thanks Doug |

You might try this Rockit software. It weems pretty full featured for a free app. The other link has midi files made with rockit that you could review.

i checked out 'rockit'.
1. it's not actually freeware. 2. seems pretty 'c**p'. are we talking about a stand alone program or a plugin solution here? there are plenty of alternatives. give me some details and i'll list some alternatives... -------------------- one for all and all for one...

Again more info on what you are looking for would help.
Try going to www.computermusic.co.uk and downloading SR-202. This is a pretty cool little VSTi drum machine which lets you import samples and the web site also has alot of loop and construction kits to download all for FREE... -------------------- Mank

I was thinking stand alone, but plugin will work if I can use it with Audio Desk. I'll check out the site, thanks.

Okay, went to the site, it looks good, but can I download from the site, or do I have to buy the mag? That isn't a problem, just hope I can find it.
