Yes they are just loops and software instruments that work with existing mac-intel programs (logic, Gband, soundtrack).

Oh and sound track can only use the loops not the virtual instruments.

The midi loops have an audio component embedded in them, in GB if you drag a midi loop to an audio channel you can view the audio waveform.

I haven't tested this behavior in STP.
