BTW MOTU 828 beta is public since yesterday ha ha! IMVHBO got to be carefull with all that, we are trading now the new territoties of OS X. (I've got a 2480 mk2, so… got to wait a bit For everyone, debug as much as you want, but remember: audio in/out works with your memory and your hard drive, be careful!

QUOTE (rickenbacker @ Jul 26 2002, 10:40) A couple of weeks ago, I got a US-224 on loan from Tascam and they e-mailed me an OS X driver to use with it. It worked beautifully, so I could record audio in Melodyne, Bias Peak LE, Sound Studio etc in OS X. Keep an eye on the Tascam website if you've got a 224! Also, don't forget the TASCAM US-428 - I've been using this recently with Ableton Live and Reason under 10.1.5 with considerable success (MIDI and audio and control). It also seems to work well with Bias stuff, but i am not yet convinced enough to start using Deck.

Please keep the city tidy! ©City of Westminster This thread is for RME, not Tascam or whatever 3 electronic components in a box you like best. If the Tascam could follow the thread I created for them. I fall here we talk about different drivers in beta in the same thread it's going to be a nightmare to follow. BTW finding this kind of mess when you wake up is not exactly exhilarating it's here: http://www.macmusic.org/agora/forums/index...st=0#entry10770

Ok, back to the topic I´m sorry to say it, but the RME drivers as of now are totally unusable for musicians (rme says so themselves in their newsgroup). Basically you can play back audio in iTunes, Live and Peak, but that´s it. You can see your inputs, but you cannot record anything at all yet. Plus, my multiface totally freaks out when my adat and s/pdif devices are turned on. It´s just a developer release though, I´m really looking forward to TotalMix on OSX (hey, that rhymes!)
