Hi, this is a song I wrote several weeks ago and decided to rewrite and update on soundclick last night. I'ts called "In the Night". I used the Eastwest Bosendorfer 290 plugin with Logic. Thanks for listening and I hope you enjoy. http://www.soundclick.com/bands/pagemusic....m?bandID=297919-Kyle

Really beautiful, Kyle. Zapped you right into my stations. If I may ask, what kind of keyboard are you using, and what are your thoughts on it? Keep up those sweet tones. You give people like me (old guitarists, neo pianists) inspiration and drive. Thanks for the music, Al

Hi Kyle or anybody,
I’m a piano player and would love to hear In The Night (Piano Solo). I registered as a listener and got to the Soundclick page where there are a lot of blue links and a million songs, but I can’t find In the Night (Piano Solo). What’s my problem?
I have an OS X G4 dual processor but I’m on my PC. Is that a problem? I also have Quick Time player. Do I have to have a special “player” to hear the music?
Thank you in advance.
zrobert

Hi zrobert! Like you I recently signed up with Soundclick as a listener to Kyle's compositions (including "In The Night"). I navigated to Kyle's main artist page (krob43) and clicked on the "music" link. This took me to the 8 compositions available in mp3 format. You will enjoy listening to all of them. This page also allows you to email the artist. I did and was thrilled to get a quick personal response. Soundclick.comHope this helps, Ian

Hi Ian and Ron, Here’s what happened. On the PC, I got to the krob43 page and the song came up in Windows Media Player but no sound! I messed around and downloaded the In The Night (Piano Solo) mp3 file to a CD-R disk. I took it to the Mac OS X Panther, inserted the disk and I get this name “1 Katherine Buckner With Her D…Feola Age 7”. It plays, but is it In The Night? I then go to the Macintosh Hard drive and see in the left hand column a disk icon. I click it and Katherine Buckner shows up again. I click the eject arrow and “Eject “original Song-For As Long As WE Live” appears? Now I get the bright idea to click in on Macmusic forums, now that I’m on the Mac, and everything works like you guys say. I click and play In The Night (Piano Solo) and it’s the same as Katherine Buckner With Her D..Feola Age 7! Somehow Windows and Macintosh just don’t jive! I enjoyed listening to the 8 songs, especially In The Night. I dig solo piano work that has class. All in all this has been a good tutorial for me. Finding the song, plus downloading the mp3 file and burning it on a CD. Thanks you guys for the info. That’s just what I needed. Kyle plays a great piano. I’m envious! Thanks again. zrobert

Thanks for all the compliments everyone. Sorry zrobert about the confusion with soundclick. I've talked to a few other people having problems listening, but as for Katherine Buckner i have no idea where that came from. Does anyone know how I could register my songs with Gracenote so that my name shows up with the song? That might be helpful for anything I write in the future. I use a Korg Triton Pro-x 88 key keyboard hooked up to my computer with a midi interface. The piano sound your hearing is actually a plugin being streamed from my computer's hard drive. I've been using this keyboard for about 4 years now and am very happy with it. I have a few expansion boards installed that give me some better sounds I use when I gig. I find myself using software instrument libraries more and more though when I record since they sound much more realistic. I love the sound of this Bosendorfer plugin and it seems to work great in Logic. Thanks again for all your kind words. -Kyle
