Hi everyone,
I'm running PT 6.7 LE on a dual 1.8 G5 with 1 gig ram.
I have a problem when using BFD (drum rompler). Playback stops intermittently with various error messages - such as "CPU usage is holding off USB audio ..."
Otherwise the system is pretty stable
Anyone else have similar problems?
I have used both OS 10.3.5 and 10.3.8 and it makes no difference.
I have tried all the different buffer sizes and cpu limits etc in PT to no avail.
BFD runs off a separate external firewire 800 drive and Audio has a dedicated drive.

I used a demo version of Logic express a while back and I could run BFD with any number of other plugins without any problem so I'm sure the system can cope

I'm thinking maybee a memory upgrade from 1 to 2 gig will solve the problem - any thoughts (its been driving me nuts)?
