Hi there,i just recently bought the amazing serato scratch.I am loving it as it is really like mixing with real vinyl, only problem i found so far is that when encoding my vinyls into digital format(as mp3 320kps)is that even if is as clear as the original recording(using a whitelabel cartridges into xone 62 and then recorded into logic with a motu 24 in/out) is certainly missing the original bottom end bass (like the 909/808 kick drum) when boosting the low eq knob mixing.
I thought that 320 kps is as good as wav/aiff.Will it make any mayor difference going wav or aiff instead? Just started to wonder if djing digitally will automatically make me loose bottom end compare to the original recording.
So any suggestions on what format to choose or first hands experience about the subject will be much appreciated.
Thanks
Bacteria
Ps-I am aware that vinyl sound bassier than cd but such a dramatical difference...??
