I'm sure that this issue is incredibly simple to correct but I'm kind of retarded so I need your help.
I just got a hold of a copy of Logic Pro 7 and I can't get the software to produce any sound. I try to play some of the loops and nothing. I try to play instruments using the software's keyboard and my xboard keyboard and no sound at all.

I'm pretty sure that its the settings that need to be adjusted. I recently purchased a new power book, so I'm assuming that the sound card as well all other devices are current and compatible.

Have any of you run into this problem, if so how did you resolve it?
any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Hi, Tronik!

What are you using for an audio interface?
Have you selected this interface in the audio setup?
Have you selected an output in the channel strip in Logic?
Do you see any levels on your meters when you play a loop?
Have you read your Logic manual?

Send as much detail as possible, and maybe we can narrow down the reason you're not getting any sound.

Sincerely,
HaHaWorld
