Which version of ProTools LE will work properly on a Titanium without any external hardware?

probably none under osx/classic!
check digidesign.com, they're usually pretty slow to endorse new developements, but are very specific about what they know to work. wink.gif

Protools free is the only hardware free version of protools that will run on your tibook.

…and in OS 9, not Classic as damann said. best is to have a specific OS9 installed on a different partition, not the one used for Classic.

I guess I have to think about purchasing an MBox.
I've been working on a Digi 001 till today and I'm afraid to hear the difference between the 24bit Digi hardware and the Tibook sound card.

mbox works great on the titanium. i have a new pro tools hd2 system as well but i always use the mbox at home and on the road with my tibook.

i think also they'll be releasing a new pro tools LE version with support for 32 tracks instead of those whimpy 24
