Hi, all:
My first post. I haven't seen any mention of this topic yet, so I thought I would pass on this simple tale of happiness in a world of tech terror, weeping and gnashing of teeth. (I was born too long ago to find this stuff simple!). Two days ago my DIGI 002 simply stopped working. No audio and no MIDI. Silencio. I phone Digidesign and the words weren't out of my mouth and the tech support guy instatly recognized the problem, as if he'd been answering the same question all day and was waiting for my call. He sent a repair kit and instructions on how to fix the widget, and a form I had to sign indemnifying Digidesign from all and everything that may ever arise from my opening the unit to repair it. Long story short, the repair kit which is a new power supply harness, did the trick and I'm back in business. Turnaround: two business days from California to Québec.caprice@ca.inter.net |
