Hu ho…
Seem you're using a NmM (wellcome! I'm an ex NmM now went to full expanded NMR Maybe it is not logic nor mac related. Are you running the editor of the NM while your problem occurs? It is pretty demanding in computer ressources AND MIDI wise. It is a likely source for your problems. On the MIDI side, if it's the editor the cause, use a different MIDI interface to connect the NM so the MIDI editor flow (HUUUUUGE) won't interfer with the rest (common issue both platform). Power wise, if it's the case, do you need the editor while running your tracks? If I'm not completly out in space, me the Mac God (it's me it's me ) I'd say subscribe to the nord modular list , especially for the question of the midi interface. IT IS NOT a weightless matter. http://www.topica.com/lists/nord-modular/ It's full of really competent (so deeply you're ashamed people. hope I found out… else… well (logic gods somewhere ? -------------------- Our Classifeds • Nos petites annonces • Terms Of Service / Conditions d'Utilisation • Forum Rules / Règles des Forums • MacMusic.Org & SETI@Home

have you tried the "classic" solution of assigning more memory to logic?
this always works. in case you don't know how to: select(single click) the logic application (not it's folder). press command (apple) and i (get info). a little window pops up, at the top of the window is a pull down list that says general. click on and hold down this list until you see the word memory. select memory. at the bottom of the window you now see minimum size and prefered size, if you're running os 9.2 with 570meg of ram i would suggest making the prefered number 470000 and the minimum 200000. this will leave plenty of ram for the system, with some spare incase you boot another app whilst logic is running! to give you an idea, logic is a memory hog. i give logic a prefered 800000! that of course is 800meg. stay in touch, good luck (luck=labour under correct knowledge)... -------------------- one for all and all for one...

Thanks damann, this is exactly the kind of grassroots thing I always forget with newbiesÉ
I may add that a memory partition for obvious (binary wise) reasons should be set to a multiple of 512 or 1024É (damann you're feeding your Logic too well, he'll get fat ) hope it's only that, the nm is a more tricky thing (but fÉ great) If the problem is Nord related keety is now on the NMlist so on good hands. Some of the guys are terrific (in a competent way (BTW on the NMlist I'm no more a god but a lord ) If he doesn't give us the answer, I'll pass the message from the nmlist. -------------------- Our Classifeds • Nos petites annonces • Terms Of Service / Conditions d'Utilisation • Forum Rules / Règles des Forums • MacMusic.Org & SETI@Home
