I want a simple, cheap method of collecting sound to put into my Mac, then use them in the EXS24 in Logic Pro 7.

Someone suggested a digital dictaphone, but could that link to my Mac? what are the other possible answers???

Thanks all

Gary

There are tons of mp3 players out ther that will record and save sounds that can be put into your mac. I heard that soundblaster has a pretty good one... as good as it will get with a built in mic.
I assume that your are looking for high quality samples. I don't think that's going to happen with a built in mic jobbie.. If I was looking for something small, affordable, and capable of doing dome quality field work, I would look at some of the ZOOM products available.
