I'm running protools LE 6.4 with a digi 001 on OSX. I'm looking to "upgrade" and am thinking of buying the Mbox(2). This is for my personal use. The main reason is to jump up to LE 6.9 or 7.0. My question is if my current plug-ins will work with the mbox and 6.9 or 7.0? Also, is there any major difference between the mbox and new mbox2 (mic-pre's, etc?), and would there be any good reason not to make this move?

Well, one good reason for me would be the loss of 6 analog in/outs. Of course, you could begin sessions with the 001 I suppose.

I think you would be better off selling the 001 and spending a few more bucks for a 002, I hate the Mbox, there just crappy and USB 1
