There may be an obvious reason for this but the following is happening.
I plug my guitar into input 1 of my RME Fireface 800 and then use a normal Logic Audio track to play it through. So far so good. Today I though I would experiment with Logics own presets for guitar sounds. So at first I chose a few of the accoutstic sounds and when I strum the guitar eveything is okay. However, if I choose an electric sound like a preset distorted guitar the sound only really comes out of my left speaker. it is the same for my headphones. Is there any reason for this? The pan is dead centre? ![]() |

It's because you are using stereo effects with just one input, soulution once you have selected your effects temporarily set the channel strip to mono while recording. then to stereo for playback.
