Hey Guys...

I have a problem with my MAC seeing my Midiman Oxygen-8....when i try to set up my OMS...it finds a keyboard with a question mark...

i have tried reinstalling OMS...tried reinstalling the drivers for the keyboard...no luck.

the keyboard goes straight into the Mac through USB...

Hmmm......any ideas?

thanx in advance!

Yes. Doble click on the keyboard with the question mark and a screen will pop up that lets you set the type of hardware you are using.

Shouldn't this just work?

Are you running OMS 2.3.8?

it dosen't matter that oms can't recognise the oxygen8.
when you double click on the question mark, the dialogue box you see only requires that you tell it what the connected keyboard is capable of.
unfortunately, oms hasn't been updated in years, is just about to become obsolete, and never worked very well in the first place! angry.gif
your problem is really that oms will never understand the controller knobs on oxygen8. wink.gif
midiman have been updating their drivers lately, showing some good commitment, stick with them.
depending on the sequencer you're using, you shouldn't even have to use oms! rolleyes.gif
