Could anyone tell me if the Tascam US 122 is compatable with any or all Pro Tools software?

Not at all. It used to be that you could only use Pro Tools with Digidesign, or Apogee hardware or a few boutique PT interfaces but since they bought M-Audio there is now a version of Pro Tools compatible with most M-Audio interfaces. Sadly, it won't work with any other hardware though.
