Who can help me with this one?
I'm using an M-box with digidesign core audio to control Logic, Protools, Reason and my I-tunes.
Now everything works fine except for i-tunes every-time a start up i-tunes my core audio app also starts up but after about 3 or 4 songs the audio stops and the only thing you'll hear is very loud static noise coming out of the speakers.
I have to close i-tunes and start the core audio app again and i-tunes so it can simply happen again.

I'm using panther on a g4 quicksilver

Hmm. That happens to me too, though not as often.

It's my understanding that the core audio drivers for the Mbox are not really great, and are kinda buggy in general. I've been using mine for Logic and iTunes as well, and it's a pain in the butt. It's gotten to where I'll actually yank the mbox and track virtual instruments into logic using my powerbook headphone jack for output, and then only switch back to the Mbox for final mix tweaks.

There's no question that the audio out of the Mbox sounds clean and good; I am simply biding my time til I can afford a Motu or Tascam audio interface to do the job better. I keep the Mbox around to run Protools when it's necessary.

Sorry I can't be of more specific help--I'm just here to commiserate. My advice: get a Motu 828mkII. You'll be happy you did.

It hapened to me ... And most of the times, I used a rather unusual method, by it worked : in the utility>audio and midi program, I set the synchro on Mac, then on Device, and it seems to reinit (partially ?) the core audio ...

Hope it'll help ...
