please help me. how do i record sound! im using a firewire solo interface, i have set that up in preferences, what steps do i need to take to record an audio track? what about playing it back? can i run my monitors straight out of my computer or do those need to be connected to the interface? please help me!

basically you need to enable an audio track for recording the inputs of the interface and then hit record when you are ready

you should specify more detailed info on your computer, monitors etc. and maybe you will get more responses that will explain better and help more cool.gif

I can't say more because I haven't used Logic since OS9
