Hi,
I'm teaching at a school in London and have taken it upon myself to get their studio working, but it's proving to be a monster task!
Here's the thing: they have SO much otboard gear (Yamaha multi fx x2, 8 track digital recorder, digitech Quad 4, graphic eq, A3000 synth, CD / Tape recorder, Behringer Composer Pro [gate/lim/comp]) running into a 48 track Eurodesk, BUT then running a stereo out to 1 computer line in!
I'm thinking: as the school has no funds for upgrading I could sell some gear and get a decent soundcard and a mic or two. They're mostly recording vox, guitar, bass, drums as well as sampling.
Any ideas on soundcards for this sort of setup?
I have to use Cubase as a platform as that is the program that all the kids are learning in the ICT rooms.
Any ideas / suggestions would be MUCH appreciated! Thanks in advance!!!
