I just can't get this to work. I've heard from many people that it's loaded with problems, or that it won't work on anything but a supercomputer.
On a powerbook G4 1.5GHZ, with just a couple of instruments loaded, the latest version just pops and clicks. This is more buggy than CPU overload and buffers and preferences don't affect it? Does anyone know how I can make this thing work properly? |

Tried the Free version....
Looks simple but does not work properly.... Why try and get a stupid piece of software to work. If you bought it: try and get your money back. -------------------- IMac G5 20" 1GB OSX 10.3.9, Imac G3 400Mhz 512MB OSX 10.2.8

QUOTE Why try and get a stupid piece of software to work. If you bought it: try and get your money back. i agree, i tried sampletank and i did get it to work on and off, but it uses an amazing amount of cpu for little reward -on the more complex patches my 2.0dual G5 with 1.5G ram could do about 6 notes before it started to cut out... and there's nothing outstanding in the sample libraries (not for my uses anyway) what kind of sounds are you after out of sampletank? there's always a better way.... cp |
