I need to take Garageband from a G5 and copy it to a bunch of eMacs.... what is the best way to do that? they all share the same storage.

I think the easiest way is to install GarageBand from the OSX installation disc. You can do it using Pacifist.

Please note that you are not allowed to install OS X or any software included on more machines than your license includes.

A G5 system disk will not work with an eMac, once the installer detects the lack of a G5, it will not let you continue.

Looks like you have to purchase iLife.
