I was wondering if any of you would care to explain how to use the N.I FX plugs in Ableton Live?

I understand how to use their normal plug ins, like "absynth" and "pro 53", but how do i use the "absynth FX," or "pro 53 FX" plug ins?
do i have to route them differently or do i have to have a midi note trigger them?

I ordered my Li ve 5 box, but have not received it yet, so I am still in the dark about a few things.

I looked on the N.I forum but could not find any specifics on this particular question.

thanks everyone

When you receive your Live 5, there are tutorial files that will explain it.

as far as I see it is not explained in the tutorial how to use the Pro53FX and the AbsynthFX in a Live audio track. Because you have to trigger them via Midi you need to use the sidechain possibility of Live to route Midi to the plugin. In the Live manual it is explained how to do this with audio but you can do it the same way with Midi.
