Awful Noise After Update Osx 10.3. (g4 800 Qs2002) Options

Hello,

since the update to version 10.3. on my G4 800 Quicksilver there is just a
awful noise coming out of the internal speaker (i got the same problem
in version 10.4). No more other sounds can be heared.

Under OS 9.2.2. and unter OS X 10.1. the sound is ok. I have already tried a
lot like checking the Sound parameters, deleting PRAM, PMU reset, logged in
as a new user, deleting preferences, opening a song in GarageBand....

Unfortunately everything without success. Can anybody help me along?
