Hi everybody! my girlfriend is moving in germany for 10 months, and were from canada, and she's wondering if she'll have to deal with other connector problems than the usual power plug. Especially, in her case, for the rj-45 cables. Having never went overseas, I had to admit I cant tell with certitude that these are the same connectors...
Since I know many people on this forum are from the european continent, I ask here.

Beyond the power plug connectors, is there differences in connectors used with a laptop once overseas?

thanks everyone!

If Canada uses the same power as the US you have a problem. USA uses an entirely different voltage and cycles so you might need to get new adaptors for all the equipment OR get a few transformers (Bad in studios with their noise and interference)

HI again, thank you for taking time to answer but my concern is if BEYOND the power plug connectors, will I have other connectors to change, such as rj-45 connectors for network connections into german modems?

regards.
