Hi Guys
will willingly help in translating technical stuff, tables etc from french to english.
can also add data and experience if desired, some stuff could maybe do with updating (Mac Audio card table for example)
Having been asked to write Long , horribly complicated replies to single queries, i figure it may be more sensible to write them as articles, then the forum moderators can point people to them when they ask the same question.
Have experience in a wide range of Audio disciplines and Computers.
(do Whinedoze as well as Mac OS)
Logic and cubase and Protools, Macs from a Mac classic upto a G4 Dp 1Ghz.
All sorts of interfaces, scsi devices , firewire, blah blah.
Best regards to all , and thanks for the Grand Job you do.

Still interested in Mac muso club ideas as well.

Hi Chaps
I'm not a massive HTML user, but i suppose i could learn, its only another programming language after all......
I have Office 98 and Appleworks 6 on the Internet machine .
as well as a few other bits.
I'm on 512Kb/s Broadband.
I use Both Netscape (4.7 & 6.2) and I.E 5 as well as outlook express 5.
I Haven't bothered learning HTML yet as it requires time and motivation, although website building is on my list of things to master in the next 12 months, so I'll be along that road soon.
Which method is preferred for page editing here?
best regards

Further to earlier post.
I'm assuming that the link i followed to 'help' translate, that takes me to the contact page for this service, should also then display URL s for the required pages and open it in a new window (as stated in french)
Well it doesn't, none of the browsers i tried can use the link.
So How do i access the page??

guidelines for editing:

- if using composer (or an HTML editor), just keep the needed html (the article) and remove the header/footer content.

-if using a spreadsheet (prefered, and faster): command-A in your browser, and command V in your spreadsheet software. The table structure should be kept in the spreadsheet.
